Project Notes: San Francisco Edwardian

It’s official! Our newest project is an 1,800 square foot flat in a gorgeous 1910 Edwardian building in San Francisco. The building has another unit above and was built, like many others of this era, to be a two unit building (versus a single family that was divided). This is significant because the architectural details of this flat are completely unchanged from its original design. From the inlaid floors, to the intricate trim and moulding. Even the original lighting is still intact and functional with both electrical wiring and also can be lit with gas.
